We take pride in our experience and understanding of fixated risk in the private sphere. The conducting and publication of our own high-quality research is an essential feature of quality management in our threat and risk assessment.

Current Theseus research concerns matters of practical interest to those working in threat assessment. The two main strands examine:

Differences in risk factors between cases in different sectors (corporate, talent, private individual, politicians)
Associations and risks involved with different forms of threat.

The CTAP-25

This paper details the background to the CTAP-25 and its development into a manualised threat assessment instrument for use both in the private sphere and in policing contexts. It reports the first evaluation of the reliability of the CTAP.

Factors associated with approach and persistence in corporate threat assessment cases.

Threats to public figures: the importance of motivation and of purpose of threat

Particular types and forms of threat are significantly associated with subsequent approach in cases that are fuelled by grievance, but not in those with the motivation of seeking a relationship.

The Stalking of Companies, their Employees and Leadership

In Preparation: The risk factors in a given case of intrusive or threatening behaviour differ according to the underlying motivation. And motivation is different in cases involving companies.
